Seeing him as the anti-hero of the series, seeing him do the right thing without him ever realizing it, at times, or him just knowing, "cabbage it. This is what I have to do.", made me look up to him as somewhat of an idol. Basically, because he's not Superman, or Hulk Hogan, or any of these archetypical "superheroes," but because he's him. A foul-mouthed, tough-exterior-having, sword-wielding, half-demon anti-hero who doesn't give a damn what the world thinks of him. That, to me, is why I look up to him.

True story. He's a good soul even after everything he's been through. And he's chivalrous, even if he doesn't want to be.
